Mark Argento, MSc Candidate
Mark hails from Calgary, AB and after finishing a BSc in Earth Science at X he has decided to stick around for more. His MSc research will examine gas migration and surface casing vent flow, two types of wellbore leakage where gases can penetrate to the surface, and constitutes 17% of our national O&G methane emissions. Data for inventory estimates are underpinned by sparse measurements, and Mark’s research will help create a more robust inventory. Outside lab life, fishing and hockey are two of Mark’s interests.
