Mackenzie Le Vernois, MSc Candidate
Mackenzie is graduate student and an army brat, who grew up traveling around Canada and Europe as a child of a Canadian Armed Forces member. Planting her roots at StFX, she graduated with a BSc in chemistry and a minor in biology in 2022. Her original goal, post undergrad, was to explore pharmaceuticals, but realized she was more passionate about sustainable chemistry and science, which led her to the FluxLab! Within the lab, she works on the Alliance Regional Methane Emissions project, researching where GHG’s come from through source signatures. Outside of work, she is a CrossFit, oat milk latte, and Antigonish enthusiast. She also enjoys hiking, photography, and going to the lake!
