Liz O’Connell, BSc
Liz is a full-time lab technician based out of Montreal, QC, where she liaises with energy regulators and companies, writes funding applications, and works in the field. Equally comfortable in the field, analyzing data, or making presentations, Liz has been involved in a large number of projects, and authored many industry reports. Liz is currently leading a Petroleum Technology Alliance of Canada-funded project, which focuses on quantifying greenhouse gas related emissions in energy developments across Alberta. In the past Liz was Calgary-based and is therefore well known amongst air monitoring specialists in the energy sector. Liz is also no stranger to the lab, having worked here during her BSc. in Environmental Sciences, which she completed in 2014.
