Jennifer Baillie, BSc
Jennifer Baillie is no stranger to the Earth Sciences Department at StFX, having completed her undergraduate in 2015 with a hefty pile of awards in hand, and by then had already accumulated 4 years of research experience in the department. Jennifer is our lab’s primary field technician, as she has the broadest experience in different settings, including controlled release methane experiments that we have done repeatedly, and for industrial partners. Jennifer is also the only lab member certified to use our FLIR GF-320 Optical Gas Imaging camera. Her main personal project has involved mapping oil and gas emission plumes across several thousand square kilometres of southern Saskatchewan, where air quality concerns seem to hit the headlines often.
