Athar (Ati) Omidi, MSc

Athar is a Research Associate with the lab who processes data from various landfills and generates comprehensive emission reports. She holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics and completed a Master’s degree in Computer Science. Her expertise in mathematical and statistical algorithms enables her to analyze complex datasets and identify factors influencing emission rates and quantities. Through advanced analytical techniques, she extracts meaningful information from the data which is then used to facilitate informed development of emission mitigation strategies.

Ati is driven by a desire to uncover insights that can enhance environmental management polices for landfills. She thrives in fast-paced environments and prefers to work in noisy places. Besides working, Ati enjoys hiking and watching Friends for the hundredth time.
