Amanda Bryant, PhD

Amanda is a researcher and writer with a keen interest in the energy transition and a passion for climate action. She has written and published on an array of issues, including the underreporting and underestimation of methane emissions, as well as the language of “just transition”. Amanda is particularly interested in the physical, political, legislative, economic, and cultural challenges and opportunities in the transition to net zero — as well as the incredible problem-solving potential of innovation and smart, forward-thinking policy. She loves to analyze ideas, to synthesize complex information from a variety of sources, and to produce clear, incisive, and informative content for expert and non-expert audiences. She received her PhD in Philosophy from the City University of New York Graduate Center.
