Regina Gonzalez Moguel, PhD

Regina Gonzalez Moguel is an environmental geochemist whose research has focused on tracing methane emissions using carbon isotopes. Her work spans diverse environments, including permafrost lakes, oil-sands operations, and urban areas. At FluxLab, she contributes to controlled-release projects that help improve the accuracy of methane measurements in landfill and mining contexts. Outside of research, Regina spends her time practicing Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.
