Matthew Rygus, Research Assistant

Matthew studied Environmental Science at the University of Calgary for his Bachelor’s, and Sustainability Management at the University of Waterloo for his Master’s. With work experience in the oil and gas sector and methane emissions space, and a unique skillset that blends the technical with non-technical, Matthew joined the lab  to support an array of exciting research.  Matthew enjoys exploring the backcountry of the Rocky Mountains, golfing, watching football on Sundays, analyzing films, and creative writing (and is currently working on a screenplay for a psychological thriller).
