Peri McFarlane, BFA

I am a developing artist currently situated in K’jipuktuk (Halifax, Nova Scotia) studying animation, illustration, art history and more at NSCAD University. I began my artistic career with Red Deer College in Red Deer Alberta where I fostered a love for tactility and hand fabricated arts. I try to work with my hands as often as possible. My goal and aspirations with art are to shift the world into a kinder and happier place by creating inspirational and educational media for children and adults through a variety of mediums, specifically animation. I joined the lab to create stylized visuals that showcase FluxLab’s research trajectory over the past 5 years.
